Immersion probe for ultrasonic flaw detection

A lineup of immersion probes unique to KGK.

This is an immersion probe used for non-contact ultrasonic testing, such as ultrasonic flaw detect performed with a scanning device while fully submerged in water. It is also used for automatic ultrasonic flaw detect equipment, semi-automatic ultrasonic flaw detect equipment, or ultrasonic flaw detect using the water column method. In addition to ultra-compact probes like "Chibita-kun" and "Pechako-san," standard-size probes are also available. The probe's frequency bandwidth comes in variations such as narrowband and broadband. Depending on the application, the focal type can be selected from flat (non-focused), point focus (PF), or line focus (LF). For standard-size probes, the connector can be chosen according to the customer's preference from three types: Microdot, UHF, or M-type connectors.
